Revision of SMS tariff by TRAI in its Telecom Tariff (Fifty Fourth Amendment) Order, 2012  a) Upto one hundred SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan/STV subscribed by the customer;  b)beyond 100 SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan or 50 paise per SMS which ever is more.  c)For the customers who have subscribed to any volume based SMS STVs (prepaid)/ SMS pack (postpaid), upto 100 SMS per SIM per day will be free and beyond that the SMS charges will be as per the plan or 50 paise per SMS which ever is more.

Note: On net denotes BSNL network and off net denotes others network. Validity starts from the date of latest recharge. In case of  Anant, the Life Time Validity means the License Period of the Operator<. The License Period for Cellular Services of BSNL is 20 years w. e. f. 29.02.2000. However, the License is understood to be renewable further on its expiry. During both the Bonus Periods, no O/G calls shall be allowed except emergency (toll free) & IVR Calls, however I/C will be allowed. The unutilized balance amount of the previous card can be carried forward in case of renewal within the Bonus Period I, other wise it shall lapse. The SIM number can be re-activated with in additional Bonus Period II of 165 days even beyond the Bonus Period I of 15 days for all Card values . However, in such case, the credit balance will lapse but the subscriber will not have to pay activation charges. With Flexi Top up and C-Top up, customers have freedom to choose any denomination, any time and at any where. In Case of STVs/Plan Vouchers the circle can suitably adjust the MRP in the price band up to Rs. 5(+/-) of price mentioned in the website, considering the technical feasibility. Minimum recharge through existing Top-up cards of Rs. 50 under old Anant Plan and Rs. 200 under Life time Plan is required. Every Six months for extension of validity period, failing which the SIM card will be permanently deactivated. Call rates under Friends and Family numbers may be suitably adjusted by Circles considering the Technical feasibilty.
